Hi, I'm Maulik
Schooling:
Heritage International Xperiential School
(Active in MUNs, STEM events, debate, and sports.)
A 12th-grade IB student at Heritage International Xperiential School. I'm passionate about civil engineering, social impact, and environmental advocacy. I’m especially interested in how engineering and policy come together, and I enjoy blending technical insight with leadership to drive meaningful change.

I’ve always been curious about how things work and how they can work better. Whether it’s through building prototypes, leading community initiatives, or writing about global issues, I enjoy blending technical problem-solving with leadership and communication.

Outside the classroom, I’m actively involved in Model United Nations (MUNs), STEM events, debate, and sports like cricket and karate. I hold a black belt in karate and have represented my school in ISSO cricket tournaments. These experiences have taught me the value of discipline, strategy, and collaboration.

From founding Project Jeevan to publishing blogs through The Panorama and taking part in global fellowships, I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, create, and contribute to something bigger than myself.

Hobbies
Bass Guitar – School Band Member
I play the bass guitar as part of my school’s band, regularly performing at school events, assemblies, and festivals. Through collaborative rehearsals and live performances, I’ve honed my sense of rhythm, musicality, and teamwork. Playing bass has allowed me to explore creative expression while staying rooted in structure and coordination with others.

Karate – Black Belt (Seiko Kai International)
I hold a Black Belt in Karate, certified by Seiko Kai International, earned through years of disciplined practice, competitive bouts, and grading exams. Karate has played a pivotal role in developing my mental focus, physical endurance, and resilience—skills that translate well into academic and leadership settings.

Cricket – ISSO Under-17 & Under-19 Tournaments
I’ve represented my school in ISSO (International Schools Sports Organization) cricket tournaments at both the Under-17 and Under-19 levels. Competing against top schools across India, I’ve developed strong strategic thinking, team communication, and adaptability on the field, while balancing academics with intensive training schedules.

Blogging – Technology, Policy & Global Affairs
As a writer and editor for The Panorama, I blog regularly about technology, policy, and global issues. My articles aim to make complex topics accessible to youth readers, covering subjects such as climate action, innovation, digital ethics, and international affairs. Blogging has become a way for me to reflect on current events and contribute to youth-led discourse with clarity and depth.
