Pre-Professional Experience

Selected from over 10,000 applicants, I am currently a fellow in the BeVisioneers program, a global 3-year sustainability fellowship supported by Mercedes-Benz and run by DO School Fellowships. The program offers mentorship, innovation labs, and funding to help young changemakers develop eco-friendly, community-impact projects. As part of my fellowship, I am building a sustainable solution addressing local environmental challenges, grounded in systems thinking and long-term scalability.

​At Jharokha, a handloom-based startup in Bathinda, I supported the foundational setup of their business operations. I helped establish their financial accounting systems, formulated a year-long marketing strategy, and worked closely with the founders to position the brand in the sustainable textile space. My work contributed to streamlining their operations in the crucial first phase of growth while promoting environmentally conscious practices. My marketing strategy which included social media campaign, offline campaigning, inbound marketing and guerrilla marketing techniques lead to an overall sale of Rs. 4,000,000 over the first year. Helping local businesses bloom and seeing how a small scale start up functions helped me gain insight on the daily lives of people in developing/underdeveloped areas of the country.

​As an intern at Atithi, a hospitality tech startup, I was involved in the product research and development phase. I designed and conducted a mass usability survey, gathering over 800 user responses that were then used to refine the platform’s features and user experience. I also supported early business decisions by analyzing feedback trends and advising on user onboarding strategies, helping the founder shape a product with real-world applicability.

During my 3 month internship at the Nisarg Foundation, an environmental non-profit, I worked in the area of donor engagement and CSR outreach. My responsibilities included drafting funding proposals, developing CSR alignment strategies for corporates, and coordinating with government stakeholders. Additionally, I assisted with field projects focused on sustainable agriculture and water resource management, contributing to impactful grassroots-level environmental work.

I also worked with the hydrology department where I created a detailed report on the water situation of 3 districts- Nuh, Singrauli and Sambhar. These 3 districts had a total population of over 12 million people and my reports highlighted exactly why these dzisctrics were water scarce and what can be done to fix the same. This report is being used by Nisarg to make these districts free from this ever lasting water crisis.

During my internship at Shiva Builders, I worked on terrain-sensitive infrastructure design under the Bharatmala national highway project, focusing on geotechnical stability and sustainable construction practices. I contributed to safety assessments of Himalayan and semi-arid corridor sections, analyzing erosion patterns and structural integrity.

I also proposed the TerraGuard Modular Base System, an innovative plastic-bitumen composite foundation that enhances slope stability and reduces landslide vulnerability. My work combined field analysis, material research, and design optimization, helping improve the project’s long-term resilience and environmental performance.
